Message Nicely done, nicely looking, nicely designed - in short sweet! Hope to do something similar, out of our Klepper folding kayak. Our new, untested rig has about 50 sq. feet of sail (a junk main and a small mizzen, one day probably complemented with our jib, if the Center of Effort doesn't add up with the Center of Lateral Resistance). Love the idea of setting the leeboards in the akas - I might steal that idea! Tord, Sweden
Reply Thanks! I really like having the centerboards out to the sides and out of the way. It leaves more room for a passenger in the main hull, and doesn't get in the way of paddling like a clamp-on leeboard does.

Message We ate a bag of Orville's popcorn while viewing your creation. You are very brave to go out in the sound/ocean. Do I hear Merchant's Lake calling? !!! A+
Reply Maybe brave, but probably just stupid :)
